Privacy at a glance

Your investment inputs stay on your device and are not sent to our servers. The calculator does not automatically send your investment amounts, token amounts, average purchase prices, manual prices or target prices to our hosting or market-data providers. There are no WothIf accounts or saved portfolios in the current version.

This does not mean that using WothIf creates no other information. Hosting and logo requests involve technical network information. If you choose to email support or attach a screenshot, the information you send is received and stored in our support mailbox. Apple also handles information associated with distributing the app and its platform services. The sections below explain these differences.

Educational use — not financial advice

WothIf is an educational tool for exploring hypothetical asset values. It does not provide financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and does not recommend buying, selling or holding any asset. Results are estimates based on your inputs and reference prices, not predictions or guarantees of future performance. You are responsible for your decisions; consult a qualified professional for advice about your circumstances.

Your calculator inputs

WothIf calculates hypothetical asset values on your device. Investment amounts, token amounts, average purchase prices, manual prices and target prices are not sent to our market-data service or CoinMarketCap. The current version keeps scenarios in app memory; it does not provide saved portfolios or cloud synchronization. Closing or restarting the app may clear the scenario. Reset clears the active calculator state.

You do not need a WothIf account. We do not ask for your wallet address, exchange credentials, contact list or precise device location. The current app does not include advertising, behavioral analytics or cross-app tracking SDKs.

Providers: Cloudflare and CoinMarketCap

The app requests a shared cryptocurrency catalog and reference prices from our service hosted on Cloudflare. Ordinary network information, such as your IP address, request time, URL and technical headers, is processed to deliver and secure those requests. Our application storage holds public market quotes, catalog information and aggregate request/usage counters, not your investment inputs or an individual account profile. Cloudflare hosts our market-data service and public website, and processes technical network information to deliver and protect them under its own policies.

CoinMarketCap supplies market prices to our server. Our server requests a common top-100 list rather than sending your calculator scenario or a per-user portfolio. Coin logos load directly from CoinMarketCap's image infrastructure; those requests can reveal your IP address, technical headers and the requested logo. Device/network image caches may retain downloaded logos.

This website

Our information and support website is also hosted by Cloudflare. It serves static pages without WothIf analytics, advertising scripts, forms, cookies or browser storage. Cloudflare processes network information to deliver and protect the pages under its own policies. Following an external link takes you to that provider's service.

Provider: Apple — app distribution and future purchases

Apple distributes WothIf through TestFlight and the App Store and processes associated platform information under its policies and your settings. Purchasing is not enabled in the current tested calculator build. When subscriptions are enabled, Apple will handle payment and billing. We do not receive your full payment-card details. WothIf will use subscription product and transaction/entitlement information needed to provide, restore and manage access. We will update this policy before introducing purchasing or an additional purchase-service provider. Apple may also provide developer sales, subscription and diagnostic reports under its platform settings and policies. See App Store & Privacy.

Provider: Google Gmail — support email

We use Google Gmail for our support mailbox at galivexlabsllc@gmail.com. If you contact support, we receive and store your email address, message, attachments and associated email headers in that mailbox. Google processes this information to operate Gmail, including message delivery and security, under its policies. See Google's Privacy Policy. We use support correspondence to answer your request and resolve problems. Emailing support is optional; the calculator does not automatically send scenario inputs to Gmail. Please do not send private keys, passwords, payment details or actual holdings. Technical information is used for service delivery, security and troubleshooting. We do not sell your calculator inputs or use them for targeted advertising.

Storage, retention and your choices

Public market caches and aggregate usage counters support freshness and service limits. Infrastructure providers handle their own operational records according to applicable policies and configuration. We keep support correspondence only as reasonably necessary to respond, address related issues and meet applicable legal obligations. Our market application does not persist individual request logs. Cloudflare controls retention of its infrastructure and security records under its own policies; we do not promise a fixed deletion period for those records.

You can reset your scenario, stop using the app, manage device caches/settings and contact us with privacy questions or applicable access/deletion requests. There is no WothIf user account to delete. Apple manages Apple Account and billing records separately; deleting the app does not cancel an Apple subscription. We will handle applicable privacy requests subject to verification and legal requirements.

Security, children and service locations

We use HTTPS for the hosted market-data service and keep provider API credentials on the server. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Infrastructure and service providers may process information outside your location. WothIf is a general-purpose educational calculator and is not directed to children under 13; we do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied personal information.

Policy changes
